Welcome
So what is URBAN wildlife?
|
URBAN wildlife are the creatures that come out as night falls - they inhabit the stages of the country's best entertainment venues. It is the guitar riff, the singers strut and the drum solo. It's a series of photos that make you feel like you were there. It is that special moment in time when the door to their private back-stage world opens up and lets you in. That's URBAN Wildlife. Our aim is to always provide you with high-end photography that captures the moment and exceeds your expectations. URBAN: belonging to cities and towns WILDLIFE: creatures in their natural habitat

Barry Schipplock: Rock and Roll PhotographerI was about 10 when I was first seen holding my mother's camera in one hand and my mate's guitar in the other. My fascination with capturing the music industry had begun. While my mates were busy watching James Bond flicks I was more content watching the phographic cult movie "Blow Up" over and over. Each year I photograph over 500 performances plus many studio shots for press and album cover graphics. The studio features five separate spaces from traditional backdrops to grunge and graffiti spaces. I have advised the local fire brigade that I own a smoke machine! I currently shoot for three on-line magazines and one traditional magazine with readership of the webzines a combined 6 million page views per month. The webzines place me fairly and squarely in the photo-journalist arena. I'm sent out to shoot a constantly moving target, in poor and challenging light, with tight deadlines and an 8-word brief that simply reads "just make me feel like I was there". Call me now on 0438 44 88 43 and let's talk about how we can help make you [more] famous.
